Key Responsibilities

• Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins based on client requirements.

• Design responsive, visually appealing websites that align with modern UI/UX standards.

• Customize existing themes and implement design changes using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.

• Optimize websites for speed, performance, and SEO best practices.

• Collaborate with designers, content creators, and other developers.

• Maintain and update existing WordPress websites.

• Debug and resolve website-related issues and bugs.

• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and updates in the WordPress ecosystem.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum 1 year of experience in WordPress website design and development.

• Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL.

• Experience with page builders like Elementor, WPBakery, or Gutenberg.

• Familiarity with Figma or Adobe XD for translating designs into code.

• Knowledge of WordPress hooks, filters, custom post types, and taxonomies.

• Basic understanding of SEO and web performance optimization.

• Ability to work with Git version control.

• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.
